Dear B-CC Community,
Thanks for coming to the Foundation's party on March 6th, given to raise funds to pay for academic support programs for all students at B-CC HS.

Parents, alumni, parents of alumni, and community supporters came together to visit, eat, listen to the B-CC HS Jazz Combo, and hear Sean Bulson and president of the Foundation, Matt Gandal, speak about the very important work the Foundation does: supporting TAP, CollegeTracks, mentoring, staff development, department projects, the Cyber Cafe, the Language Lab, & ESOL classes for parents, among other things.

If you would like to make a contribution, it's not too late. Send your check to the B-CC High School Educational Foundation at P.O. Box 31209, Bethesda, MD 20824-1209, or use your credit card at B-CC HS's online store.

Next year's event will be held Thursday evening, March 12, 2009, so mark your calendars!

Thank you for your support of the Foundation,
Carole Brand and Susan Bank, co-chairs of the Fundraiser

2007-2008 Priorities

Our focus this year is on giving all students the educational foundation they need to succeed in today's world - where sound preparation for post-secondary training and education is critical. To provide that support, these are the projects we want to fund:

  1. After-school tutoring for all students (TAP)
  2. Summer Academy for at-risk students
  3. Mentoring for at-risk 9th graders
  4. International Baccalaureate program support
  5. Professional development for teachers
  6. New computers and technology
  7. Equipment and classroom support
  8. English proficiency and basic computer classes for parents

We welcome donations from all members of the B-CC community -- parents, alumni, businesses, and community organizations.
Please donate - help support these projects.
